The elevator H key is a manual hand tool used to unlock elevator landing doors from the corridor side during servicing or emergency rescues. The tool consists of a straight steel rod with a top cross-handle grip. When inserted into the designated release hole in the door frame, it physically pushes the internal mechanical lock to let the outer doors slide open safely.
