The Door Lock Contact TY-161 is a door lock contact switch used in elevator door lock systems. It is installed inside the landing door lock assembly and works as part of the lift safety circuit.
This contact checks the door lock status and sends a signal to the elevator control system when the door is fully closed and locked. Lift movement is allowed only after this confirmation. The TY-161 door lock contact is commonly used with Mitsubishi 161-type elevator doors and other compatible systems where a 161-series lock contact is required.
